It’s been a productive 6 months for us at Cesky Fousek New Zealand. In November 2020, one of our females, Perdita of NewBohemia (aka Frankie) owned by Brandon and Megan Fiebig in Queenstown gave birth to no less than 10 puppies. It's Wednesday the 2nd August 2017 and Koha has given birth to her second litter of pups. Her first litter was in June of last year - 6 female pups. This latest litter is 9 puppies, but after day 1 only 7 remain; 5 male and 2 female.  As of penning this article today the puppies are about 6 weeks old and very cute, and starting to be very playful and building their confidence. Great news! After a hiatus of nearly 3 years we have recommenced our breeding programme after retiring our aging sire and receiving a replacement dog from Czechia in December 2015. We are very excited to be further developing this lovely breed of dog in New Zealand and to offer keen hunters the opportunity to own and hunt with the cesky fousek.
